Financing Development Projects
To enable our clients to be as flexible as possible, we offer a number of ways in which to finance your projects, both for the upgrading of existing products or the design of new ones.

Contract Design Program
> We would jointly produce a project definition based on your specifications.
> We would carry out the hardware/software design.
> We would produce a proof of concept prototype.
> We would then supply production information to enable you to use your own manufactures or we can manufacture the boards for you to the same specification as the proof of concept prototype.
> You would have full rights to manufacture the boards.

This method enables payment to be made in stages throughout the development of the project, but is more costly since you would own the intellectual property rights to the finished product. There is a minimum charge to define the project and aquire/read all relevent documents and data sheets prior to agreeing to development. This is payable in advance regardless of our or your acceptance of the project

Partner Design Program
> We would jointly produce a specification based on your specification.
> We would carry out the hardware/software design.
> We would produce a proof of concept prototype.
> We would then manufacture batches of the boards for you.
> We would keep all rights to the boards/products and intellectual property created
This method may be more cost effective for many projects, as there is a lower prepayment and the development costs are spread over the production.
The pre-payment charge is a contribution to our direct development costs. It also provides an assurance to us that the customer is committed to the project. A legally binding order must be placed for this option, for a guaranteed number of units to be produced, to enable costs to be apportioned. There is a minimum charge to define the project and aquire/read all relevent documents and data sheets prior to agreeing to development. This is payable in advance regardless of our or your acceptance of the project

Pay As You Go
> We would carry out Design, Development, Production and support based on an hourly charge + Expenses.
> We would produce a proof of concept prototype for approval.
> We would keep all rights to the boards/products and intellectual property created or will transfer for a one off fee to be agreed separate to the hourly rate and proportional to the value of the intellectual property created.

General
There is a minimum charge to define a project and aquire/read all relevent documents and data sheets prior to agreeing to development. This is payable in advance regardless of our or your acceptance of the project. You must be clear of the scope, limits and required functionality of the project proposed. Once development has commenced, addition work or change of specifications/ functionality will require re-assessment. Please note additional fees will be incurred for every variation, major changes will require a complete re-specification as a new project. Any approvals EMC,Emark, CE or safety are separate to the main project and testing house fees are the clients responsibility. An NDA will be required for each project
